A better camp breakfast with three pieces of gear
A stove that simmers, a skillet that holds heat, and a way to keep coffee hot. That is the whole kit.

Start the coffee first. A press and a mug are all you need; the roast we stock locally is forgiving of a campfire pot.
Heat the skillet on medium for a full minute before the oil goes in. The stove’s simmer control is for the second pan: eggs on low while bacon finishes.
Wipe the skillet while it’s warm, rub in a few drops of oil, and you’re done. No soap, no scrubbing.
